Designing Citi’s first browser extension to show up at the right moments in the online shopping journey
Overview
Citi has tons of cardmember offers, but there wasn’t a seamless way to surface them while customers were actually shopping. We were also entering a space dominated by Honey, Rakuten, and Capital One Shopping — with extra adoption friction because Citi Shop required an eligible Citi card. So the work wasn’t just building a usable extension; it was designing a timely, low-friction experience that made Citi’s value obvious in the moment.
